Learning Quran an Integral part for a Muslim

A Muslim is a believer of the religion laid down by one and only God of the heavens and the earths i.e. ALLAH, through the final Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).  Literally the word Muslim means ‘one who submits’. Quran is the verbatim words of guidance and criterion from ALLAH to the whole of humanity. 

Allah says:

“Blessed is He Who sent down the criterion (of right and wrong, i.e. this Quran) to His slave (Muhammad SAW) that he may be a warner to the Alameen (mankind and jinns).”

[Surah Al-Furqan 25:1] 

Therefore it is critically important for every Muslim to learn Quran with Understanding and to promote Quran teaching by any means. In order to submit to the will of the one and only God i.e. ALLAH, one have to know what is revealed in His Divine book through Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In it is the only way for salvation and success in this world and hereafter. Quran tells us stories of Prophets before Muhammad (PBUH), all the Prophets and the followers of their teachings were Muslim. As all Prophets came to give the same teachings that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has passed. All were given guidance and scriptures from ALLAH. It is later that they have been altered and the Divine text has been changed. Quran came to supersede all the previous teachings and message. Therefore it is very crucial for us Muslims to thoroughly understand and learn Quran and also teach Quran if we understand it well.
