Islam encourages Science (part 2)

In the Quran, ALLAH summons people to ponder and inspect the signs of creation in their surroundings. The final Messenger of ALLAH, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), also encouraged people to obtain knowledge. He insisted that it is our duty to seek out knowledge. In the authentic Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) we read:

“Seeking of knowledge is incumbent upon every Muslim”
“Acquire the knowledge and impart it to the people.”

Every person who investigate the design and synchronization of the universe, living and non-living objects, and judges and explores what he observes around him will come to know ALLAH's superior wisdom, knowledge, and endless power. ALLAH invites men to contemplate on some of the subjects are mentioned in the in the Quran:

Do they not look at the sky above them? How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- To be observed and commemorated by every devotee turning (to God). And We send down from the sky rain charged with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and grain for harvests; And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another. (Surah Qaf: 6-10)
