The Miracle of Pharaoh in the Holy Quran

Pharaoh is one of the most discussed and important character of ancient Egyptian history. He is mentioned in bible, torah and the Holy Quran. The most authentic accounts of pharaoh and Egypt is mentioned in Quran which are exact when compared with tangible historical data. Pharaoh regarded himself as deity and responded with slanders and threats to Prophet Musa’s (AS) calls for him to believe in Allah. The arrogance of pharaoh was punished by Allah and it was mentioned in Quran. Allah says in Quran:

“We brought the tribe of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his troops pursued them out of tyranny and enmity. Then, when he was on the point of drowning, he [Pharaoh] said: "I believe that there is no god but Him in Whom the tribe of Israel believes. I am one of the Muslims." (Qur'an, 10:90)

This was a prediction done in the Holy Quran 1400 years ago, and in 18th century the body was found proving that Quran is a divine book revealed to mankind from the Creator of the worlds. The discovery of the Pharaoh’s body took place after an interval of 3000 years (1881-1898). Considering that the Quran had predicted that Pharaoh’s body would constitute a sign, one supposes that it should have been found. Indeed it was found. When and how? Well, after a time gap of 3000 years. What happened though was as the Quran predicted.

"What, now! When previously you rebelled and were one of the corrupters? Today we will preserve your body so you can be a Sign for people who come after you. Surely many people are heedless of Our Signs." (Qur'an, 10:91-92)

This is one of the many miracles in Quran. Anyone who uses his intellect and logical reasoning can tell that Quran is a divine revelation.
